Sr. Design Engineer / Design Engineer

About the role

We’re looking for a passionate designer interested in designing analog and mixed-signal ICs for Power Management Products using leading-edge sub-micron BiCMOS/DMOS technologies. Products may include switching regulators, hot-swap eFuse, half-bridge driver, and power management ICs for fast-growing markets such as networking, server, telecom, notebook/server core voltage, graphic card core regulator, point-of-load (PoL), and power modules.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sr. Designer on circuit synthesis from the transistor/resistor level up to the system level, simulation, and layout supervision.
• Assist ATE development with Design-For-Test methods.
• Assist AE for evaluation and customer support.

Requirements

• Understand analog and mixed-signal circuits including amplifiers, comparators, oscillators, references, LDOs, POR, charge pumps, HV level shifts, drivers, and current sensors.
• Understand analog layout techniques.
• Understand ESD, latch-up, and reliability.
• Understand general IC qualification requirements.

Qualifications

• A PhD graduate with relevant expertise in the field or an MSEE degree with a minimum of two years of experience in Semiconductor and/or Analog/Power Integrated Circuit Design.
• Solid understanding of circuit fundamentals.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

The target hiring range for this position is $130,000 - $175,000 per year, based on market location and factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related reasons.
