Sr Decision Support Analyst
About the role
The Senior Decision Support Analyst provides technical guidance, leads analysis and evaluation for work groups, business needs and requirements. This role maintains the setup and monthly process of the cost accounting system, conducts ongoing review of hospital operations and expenses, assists with formulation of reporting needs, supports the Decision Support Manager in accessing tools, reports, dashboards and models, assists in developing user training and oversees system documentation, ensures data aggregated and reported using Lawson, EPIC, Power BI and Strata Jazz accurately reflects hospital results, and engages Finance and Decision Support staff to routinely reconcile modules to core financial systems to test accuracy. Tower Health is a regional healthcare system serving communities across multiple counties in Pennsylvania, with hospitals including Reading Hospital, Phoenixville Hospital, Pottstown Hospital, and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children (in partnership with Drexel University). The system offers residency and fellowship programs, the Drexel University College of Medicine at Tower Health, the Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences, and a wide range of services such as rehabilitation, home healthcare, ambulance and emergency response, medical group, clinically integrated network, and urgent care facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain setup and monthly process of the cost accounting system
- Conduct ongoing review of hospital operations and expenses
- Assist with formulation of reporting needs
- Support Decision Support Manager in accessing tools, reports, dashboards and models
- Assist in development of user training

Qualifications
- Master's Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of a master's
