Sr Deal Desk Analyst
About the Opportunity
The Sr Deal Desk Analyst is responsible for managing and streamlining the end-to-end deal workflow. This role coordinates between Sales, Legal, and Finance to ensure deals are structured correctly, comply with pricing and discount policies, and align with revenue goals. The position plays a key role in accelerating deal velocity, supporting company growth, and enabling the sales team to close deals effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial deal structuring for new business, renewals, and expansions
- Own pricing and discount policy frameworks, including guardrails and approval processes
- Model deal economics and conduct scenario analyses to aid executive decision-making
- Develop concession frameworks to balance margin protection with competitive closing
- Cook up deals with Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Executive leadership to progress complex deals
- Advise sales leadership and account executives strategically on deal structuring
- Maintain operating rhythms, service level agreements, and escalation paths
- Manage quoting processes and contract workflows within CRM and CPQ tools
- Enforce pricing, discounting, contracting, and risk policies with proper documentation and approvals
- Support channel and partner-specific quoting and governance
- Ensure CRM opportunity records are accurate and compliant
- Design data quality standards, audits, and reporting dashboards
- Oversee SaaS license provisioning and automate provisioning tasks
- Manage handoff processes from Deal Desk to Customer Success
- Audit and design scalable deal processes and maintain Deal Desk playbook
- Deliver training sessions for sales teams on deal processes
- Evaluate and implement tooling improvements to enhance quote-to-cash processes
Requirements
- 8–10+ years in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Finance in B2B SaaS or technology
- Proven ability to lead programs and advise sales leadership independently at a strategic level
- Start-up experience required
- Familiarity with cybersecurity or enterprise security markets is a plus
- Deep understanding of SaaS pricing, discounting, contracts, and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 preferred)
- Hands-on experience with CPQ systems; HubSpot CRM experience highly valued
- Strong proficiency in financial deal modeling using Excel
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Salary range of USD $120,000-$150,000 Offer considerations include job responsibilities, education, location, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable laws
