• Design & implementation of AI solutions for semi-structured data

Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics or other related fields
6+ years of relevant experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Data Science
Strong foundation of statistical reasoning and critical thinking, with a proven track record of effectively finding solutions to stakeholder problem statements
Experience with Python, including some exposure to package development and foundational programming principles
Some experience with generative AI concepts, including embeddings, LLMs, agents, and RAG
Experience writing complex SQL queries
Understanding data warehousing and complex databases
Experience with machine learning and data visualization tools
Number sense, ability to identify questionable data, dig in and address it
Strong communication and collaboration skills to understand business needs, frame problems in familiar language (without compromising statistical fidelity), and present solutions that clearly translate to business value.

Master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or Statistics preferred.

The salary range for this position is $110800.00 - $184800.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences, performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
