Sr. Data Modeller

We are looking for a technical expert to build data workflows, validate financial data, and enforce data quality. You will actively engineer data solutions, automate manual reporting, and query datasets to support Data Governance and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements from data stakeholders into technical specifications for data pipelines and automated workflows.
• Build and maintain data warehousing workflows and data pipelines using SQL and cloud database tools.
• Compile, compute, analyze and validate data using advanced statistical formulas and model calculations.
• Elaborate high-level policies and business needs into technical requirements (user stories/system use cases) to guide platform implementation.
• Execute data profiling, build exception reports, and manage metadata/lineage using data platforms.
• Use programming language (Python/VBA/R) to automate data ingestion and reporting processes.

Requirements

• Experience (12+ Years) working in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms — beyond that of a Programmer.
• This is an 100% Onsite position.
• 84 months experience in data warehousing, profiling, governance, modeling or data quality assurance for financial reporting.
• 84 months of experience in SQL, Oracle and other database management systems, including querying.
• Provide example(s) of independently problem solving and support to internal data stakeholders that resolved data issues in real time.
• 84 months of experience with data visualization and dashboarding using tools like Tableau, Business Objects, Power BI.
• 84 months of experience in automating data tasks such as ingestion, mapping, reporting, testing, validation, analysis, using programming languages such as SAS, Python, R, or Excel VBA.
• 84 months of experience in providing governance and technical support; liaise with data vendors/solution providers, internal stakeholders, and other technology teams (Data Architecture, Project Management team) to support data strategy and initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• 84 months of experience with data cataloging platforms (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Alation) to execute data profiling, data quality, data mapping, and manage lineage.
• 84 months of experience in writing documentation to capture requirements and logic, and encourage adoption of data catalog, data quality, and data management processes and other data‑related initiatives (e.g., data platform/integration solutions).
• 36 months of experience with cloud‑based data platforms such as Snowflake or Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree.
