Sr. Data modeler

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with 10+ years of experience in Designing and implementing enterprise-scale data models. Strong expertise in Supply Chain processes and Erwin Data Modeler.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders, data architects, data engineers, and analytics teams to create scalable and efficient data models supporting supply chain operations, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Erwin Data Modeler.
• Develop scalable data models for enterprise data warehouse, data lake, and analytics platforms.
• Ensure data models align with business requirements, data governance standards, and architectural principles.
• Perform data model reviews and enforce modeling best practices.
• Experience in supply chain domain and understanding of Order Management, Procurement & Purchasing, Inventory Management, Warehousing & Distribution, Transportation & Logistics, Demand Planning & Forecasting, Vendor/Supplier Management, Fulfillment and Delivery Operations.
• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze requirements.
• Perform source-to-target mapping and data lineage analysis.
• Support data integration initiatives involving ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDA, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or similar platforms.
• Work with ETL/ELT teams to ensure accurate implementation of data models.
• Understanding of Azure and Databricks.
