About the Role

The Senior Data Exchange Architect functions as the highest level technical expert responsible for design and development of an application/device integration environment. Develops strategy of integration and architects the infrastructure to support the strategy. Sets integration development and operational standards for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and operate application and device data interfaces using integration toolsets (e.g., Corepoint, GlobalScape EFT) and standards such as HL7, X12, DICOM, and open system scripting/job control.
  • Set integration development and operational standards for the organization.
  • Advise business partners on optimal solutions.
  • Manage projects of various sizes.
  • Demonstrate innovation and creativity in problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of strong Data Exchange experience, including healthcare integration.
  • Experience with interface engines (e.g., Corepoint, GlobalScape EFT) and standards such as HL7, X12, and DICOM.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related field or 7 additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required 10 years (Master’s Degree preferred).
  • Level I CorePoint certification or equivalent.
  • Epic Bridges certification.
  • Intermediate to advanced level interface engine certification or multiple engine certifications.
