Job#: 3056466 Job Description: Senior Data Architect Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid) Role Overview This organization is seeking a Senior Data Architect to join the credit review team. The successful candidate will conduct credit risk data analytics and validation while supporting over thirty internal stakeholders. This professional will design, build, and maintain robust data structures and analytical dashboards that serve as a critical line of defense for the enterprise. This position requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to manage projects independently and communicate findings to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities Perform complex credit risk data analytics, validation, and quality checks across enterprise data systems.Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly acquisition and performance-monitoring dashboards using modern visualization tools.Conduct quarterly account review analytics and present clear, logical reports to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.Maintain and optimize a sandbox environment to enable internal self-service data analysis for a team of data analysts.Lead independent project management activities, including establishing project timelines, defining milestones, setting agendas, and following up on deliverables.Evaluate data processes and tests systematically, identify functional gaps, and establish comprehensive plans to address those gaps.Collaborate closely with internal customers to understand requirements and provide real-time updates on project status. Required Qualifications Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a closely related quantitative field is required. Experience: Candidates must possess at least five years of professional experience in data analysis and programming, including a proven track record of managing projects, setting timelines, and communicating analytical concepts to senior directors. Technical Skills: Proficient in Python and SQL with the ability to write complex analytical scripts. Demonstrated experience with Tableau, data validation methodology, and systematic quality checks is required. Strong capabilities in cloud service environments are essential. Preferred Qualifications Prior professional experience within large-scale financial services environments.Hands-on experience with AWS QuickSight, Databricks, and Spark.Advanced Python scripting capabilities integrated with document and presentation automation tools.Strong adaptability, rapid learning capacity, and collaborative teamwork skills.
