ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Analytics team and business partners from each area of the Kele companies to understand and define data requirements and enable the business through business intelligence and reporting
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain data architectures, databases, and datasets to enable extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modeling
- Create databases by integrating various internal and external data sources
- Enhance performance and stability of existing data sources
- Identify strategies to improve data dependability, efficiency, quality, and data governance processes
- Work closely with the rest of the IT team to manage the company’s data infrastructure
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing data transfer mechanics (pipelines, ETL)
- Maintain multiple data warehouse environments to support proper CI/CD and SDLC principles
- Enable and run data migrations across different databases and servers such as migrations from on-premise SQL servers
- Enhance existing stored procedures, replication, and nightly jobs to be more performant
- Document and track work in Jira
- Utilize Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory solutions to develop pipelines
