Sr Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using open-source tools (Python, Spark, etc) and managed platforms such as Fivetran, etc, applying automation-first patterns to minimize per-source engineering effort.
• Own the dbt project end-to-end - model layering, testing, deployment, and lineage - and instrument pipelines with data quality checks, SLA alerting, and CI/CD practices.
• Administer Data platform tools such as Snowflake, AWS Services, DBT Cloud across all environments, warehouse sizing, query optimization, object lifecycle, RBAC design, and Row-Level Security implementation with access provisioning automated through scripting or infrastructure-as-code.
• Own alerting and notification automation for pipeline health, data quality breaches, and cost spikes, and provide operational support and administration.
• May need to participate in On-Call rotations.

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ years of data engineering experience with senior-level ownership of pipelines and ingestion systems.

Compensation And Rewards

• DOE, salary $125K - $155K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO.
