Sr Data Engineer
This is a newly created position within our strategy team. Over the past several years, we've built a robust foundation and reached a solid level of maturity with our fraud prevention program. We're now entering a new phase with increasing business demand and expansion into new product offerings, notably the introduction of a debit card product. While we are not becoming a bank, we will work with payment processors and other financial partners, introducing new fraud typologies and risks. The primary objective of this role is to help define and execute the strategic roadmap for our future-state fraud prevention platform.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the future-state fraud prevention platform.
- Prepare technology and processes to support the new debit card offering while addressing the growing needs of the current fraud platform.
- Collaborate closely with other fraud teams and business partners to develop and implement a long-term strategy positioning the organization for future growth.
Requirements
- Robust background in banking, payments, or a closely related financial services environment.
- Experience driving technology strategy and bringing best practices to an organization.
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence is a significant plus.
- Comfort working across mainstream technologies with a focus on architectural strategy rather than hands-on development.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Skills
- Technology environment primarily AWS-based with JavaScript (specific programming language less critical).

Pay
$75.03 - $80.03 per hour.
Schedule
8 AM to 5 PM.
This role is initially offered as a contract-to-hire opportunity, with the potential for conversion to a full-time employee based on performance and fit.
