Responsibilities

• Developing and growing new business through counseling and servicing of existing clients while pursuing new loan sales development opportunities with prospective clients.
• Building strong client relationships and providing innovative and workable alternatives to solve problems that clients face in ongoing agricultural operations.
• Providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members.
• Originating, structuring and making credit recommendation on medium size commercial account transactions.
• Seeking new loan business by developing relationships with existing clients, searching for new clients and meeting with prospective clients to gain their business.
• Maintaining prospect files and establishing ongoing prospecting plans and activities.
• Assisting leadership in developing and delivering Animal Ag business plan objectives and marketing programs that enable the organization to meet business goals.
• Participating in the development of new products/services and/or the development of product promotion campaigns in collaboration with the Compeer Marketing team, as needed.
• Representing the organization for select moderately complex commercial accounts including some multi-lender relationships.
• Providing creative solutions and cross-selling value-added financial services to existing clients.
