About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Advisor to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape security strategies that reduce risk and strengthen defenses across complex environments. The position will partner closely with account teams and client stakeholders to identify needs, present solutions, and support growth through security services. It is a highly consultative role that combines technical depth, client relationship management, and commercial responsibility. The right candidate will bring strong security expertise, the ability to communicate clearly, and the confidence to lead discussions that influence client decisions.

Responsibilities

• Drive business in security services to meet or exceed quotas in collaboration with account teams
• Assess clients' security environments and identify concerns to align strategies with the company's offerings
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, managing the proposal process effectively
• Facilitate thought leadership and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align security strategies with business goals
• Lead the design of comprehensive security solutions tailored to client needs
• Stay current on industry trends and provide insights to clients and internal teams

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years in an information security role, ideally as a consultant, architect, or engineer in a specific security domain
• Strong understanding of security threats, vulnerabilities, and defensive strategies
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, including presenting complex information clearly
• Vendor-specific certifications preferred, focusing on specialized knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail in document reviews and deliverables

Compensation: $200,000 – $250,000 annually
