Sr. Consultant - Cybersecurity | Remote, Vancouver, BC

About the role

This position leads technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Solo deliver or act as point of contact for complex projects
• Serve as technical escalation point for other consultants
• Lead capacity planning and hardware specification efforts
• Manage all technology deployment activities and system integrations
• Conduct business impact analysis and recovery planning
• Oversee User Acceptance Testing and bug resolution
• Design and educate on technology build processes and code migration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience
• 4–7 years of experience in technical architecture
• Familiarity with Security Architecture and/or Enterprise Architectural Frameworks (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF)
• Knowledge of security concepts and methods, including vulnerability assessments and incident response
• Working knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, security technologies, and application programming languages
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA

Pay

$103,000 – $137,000 annually
