Sr. Customer Success Engineer

About the role

This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own technical relationships with strategic accounts throughout their lifecycle
• Build and advance tailored Customer Success Plans aligned to business objectives
• Guide customer activation and drive product adoption to realize measurable value
• Conduct health assessments and architecture reviews for solution adoption
• Assess recovery readiness and provide strategic recommendations for resilience
• Facilitate recovery simulations and best-practice discussions
• Monitor customer health signals and proactively develop retention plans
• Partner with sales and leadership to identify expansion opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles, especially in data protection and recovery
• Strong technical background in backup, recovery, virtualization, and cloud technologies
• Experience in designing protection strategies and recovery preparedness
• Ability to turn business goals into technical roadmaps
• Strong executive communication skills with experience in presentations to senior stakeholders
• Proven track record managing multiple customer relationships
• VMCE certification required or to be obtained within initial employment period

Pay

$103,200 – $191,700 annually
