About the role
Extends credit to and monitors loan portfolios of custom mortgage ultra high net worth clients. Works closely with private banking relationship managers in providing custom mortgage solutions to meet the client’s requirements or in reviewing credit standards. Possesses some loan approval authority.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes and spreads complex personal financial information using advanced Excel workbooks.
- Identifies potential risks and mitigants; escalates issues to the appropriate approver for resolution.
- Manages multiple transactions simultaneously throughout the loan lifecycle, from application to booking.
- Regularly communicates and collaborates with partners across multiple lines of business to ensure alignment and timely execution.
Requirements
- Three to five plus years of credit experience.
- Strong familiarity with personal tax returns and financial statements.
- Ability to analyze complex cash flows involving multiple income streams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Formal credit training at a major U.S. financial institution.
- Custom or Commercial underwriting experience.
