Job Responsibilities
- Perform advanced cost accounting analysis including comparing estimated vs. actual costs, reviewing profit margins, and analyzing controllable/uncontrollable cost impacts
- Maintain and manage cost data in ERP systems (Epicor) — including part cost maintenance, cost rolls, part updates, and database accuracy
- Prepare and present financial and manufacturing reports, such as monthly absorption reports, budget reports, and variance analyses to support data-driven decisions
- Lead or co-lead inventory and cost control processes, including physical inventory coordination, variance analysis, and inventory adjustments
- Collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams to estimate product costs, monitor process changes, and evaluate cost impacts for existing and new products
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, such as, Epicor/SAP
- Thorough understanding of accounting procedures
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
- At least 5 years’ experience in cost accounting within manufacturing required, including time study experience

Position Pay Range: $81,000 - $122,000 USD
