Responsibilities

• Forecast material needs using production plans and market trends
• Develop inventory management strategies to control costs enterprise-wide
• Train site-level managers on standardized procedures
• Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and turnover rates
• Own and enhance ERP systems related to materials management
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align material needs with production goals

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing multi-site materials strategy in manufacturing
• Experienced with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle in supply chain roles
• Strong analytical skills for trend identification and cost optimization
• Excellent communication abilities for team collaboration
• Proven leadership experience managing materials specialists and planners
