Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental compliance programs across North American manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations.
• Manage environmental permitting, regulatory reporting, compliance calendars, and documentation while monitoring regulatory changes and implementing new compliance requirements.
• Conduct environmental compliance audits, inspections, and gap assessments to evaluate regulatory compliance.
• Develop and track corrective action plans, support continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain compliance records using Benchmark Gensuite and other environmental management systems.
• Support the implementation and continual improvement of the corporate Environmental Management System (EMS), including ISO 14001 documentation, procedures, internal audits, standardized processes, and corporate environmental best practices.
• Provide technical environmental guidance and regulatory interpretation to EHS, Operations, Engineering, and Plant Leadership.
• Coordinate industrial wastewater compliance, environmental incident response, spill investigations, root cause analyses, and other specialized environmental programs.
