Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing on packaging products according to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) requirements.
- Monitor test controls and execute testing procedures accurately and consistently.
- Document test results and communicate findings through verbal updates and detailed written reports.
- Measure, record, and verify mechanical and electrical machine settings and performance data.
- Generate detailed and accurate reports used to support business and product decisions.
- Maintain the condition, organization, and functionality of the Testing Department and its equipment.
- Support the design, construction, maintenance, and calibration of new and existing test fixtures and equipment.
- Prioritize work effectively, manage multiple projects, and complete testing within established timelines.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in mechanical assembly, testing, or related operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, equipment, and testing procedures.
- Moderate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications.
- Ability to work overtime, including extended 10–12 hour shifts when required.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
