Sr Contract & Budget Analyst
About the role
The Senior Contract & Budget Analyst will join Kelly FSP, a managed service provider of Functional Service Provider solutions, as part of a long-term engagement with a Global Pharmaceutical client. This role offers full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, and various other perks.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and independently negotiate master governing agreements to memorialize new relationships, escalating complex or nuanced risks as necessary.
- Promptly escalate complex or nuanced risks to management or legal for input based on corporate guidance.
- Inform management of suggested updates to templates, as needed, based on patterns noted during the negotiation process.
- Possess a level of knowledge to understand and solve moderate to difficult contractual problems by proactively engaging the operational team and other relevant internal stakeholders.
- Manage moderate to complex projects and associated issues and challenges.
- Interpret and apply policies/procedures and practices to ensure protection of contractual, financial, and legal risk posture.
- Perform in-depth analyses using various sources of information to support budget and contract negotiations.
- Train and/or mentor new contracts team members.
- Develop and review Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) utilizing standard templates and projected related information, ensuring they are executed in a timely manner to meet expected timelines for study start-up.
Requirements
This role requires a strong background in contract management, budgeting, and negotiation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential. Experience with clinical trial agreements and familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations are preferred.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management and budgeting is required. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle complex negotiations is highly valued.
Skills
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards is beneficial.
