About the role
As a Senior Content Marketing Manager at Reducto, you'll build the content engine that earns trust with our core audiences — from the AI and software teams building and optimizing document processes to the business leaders and knowledge workers working with documents day-to-day. You’ll create long- and short-form content across blogs, guides, cookbooks, videos, customer stories, decision-enablement materials, and social channels. This is a hands-on writing role on our Brand and Content team, based in our San Francisco office.
Responsibilities
- Drive Reducto's editorial POV — the themes we own, the arguments we make, and the beats we return to — and translate it into a quarterly content plan tied to company priorities.
- Own Reducto's editorial calendar and publish content across the full range of our audience — engineering deep dives, benchmark write-ups, and technical guides alongside workflow breakdowns, business-process content, and industry pieces for the teams that live in these documents every day.
- Create the content that powers our SEO and GEO programs, working from the topics, keywords, and questions our Growth and Product Marketing partners prioritize — and shaping pieces so they're citable, structured, and quotable by both search engines and AI assistants.
- Interview customers and turn their results into case studies, stories, and proof points that Sales, Growth, and Product Marketing can put to work.
- Own social and newsletter distribution across LinkedIn, X, and developer communities, adapting each piece to how that audience actually reads.
- Turn every major asset into a distribution program — repurposing launches, benchmarks, and customer wins into posts, threads, newsletters, and sales collateral.
- Partner with DevRel, Engineering, and Product to translate technical depth into content that's accurate and credible to a technical reader — and with Sales and customers to ground business content in how document workflows actually break.
- Develop content briefs, manage freelancers and contributors, and hold a consistent bar for voice, accuracy, and quality.
- Work with Brand to keep our content unmistakably Reducto in voice and design, and with Growth and Marketing Operations to connect content to traffic, signups, activation, and pipeline.
- Track the topics, questions, and objections showing up in Sales calls, docs, and communities, then build content that answers them.
- Maintain and evolve Reducto's content standards, style guide, and messaging consistency as the team grows.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or a related role, ideally at a B2B software company.
- Understand how to make content perform across multiple channels and can build systems to measure your impact.
- Are a strong writer who can go from a rough concept to a published piece without heavy editing.
- Have an editorial point of view — you can decide what's worth saying and why it matters, not just execute a calendar someone else built.
- Can write credibly for a wide range of technical audiences — from an engineer evaluating an API and an operations leader rethinking a document-heavy process — and know when to switch registers.
- Have created content that fed an SEO program, and understand how search and AI-generated answers surface and cite content.
- Have interviewed customers and shipped case studies that Sales genuinely uses.
- Have run social and newsletter distribution, and treat distribution as part of the job rather than an afterthought.
- Can hold your own with engineers — asking good questions, reading the docs, and getting the details right.
- Prefer shipping and iterating to long planning cycles, and are comfortable owning the whole pipeline from idea to published to promoted.
- Operate well in an ambitious, fast-changing environment.
Nice to have
- Written for developer-tools, API, AI-infrastructure, or data-infrastructure companies.
- Understand LLMs, document processing, or evaluation and benchmarking well enough to write about them credibly.
- Have written for operations, finance, legal, healthcare, or other document-heavy business functions.
- Have built a content function from an early-stage foundation.
- Have grown an owned audience — a newsletter, a community, or a personal following.
- Have experience with product-led motions where content drives self-serve signups and activation.
- Have used AI tools to expand what you can produce without letting quality slip.
Benefits
- Unlimited PTO, because great work requires recharging.
- Daily Lunch, enjoy free lunch with teammates in the office.
- Commuter Reimbursement, we’ll cover your transportation costs.
- Comprehensive Insurance, medical, dental, and vision.
- Health and Wellness Budget, up to $150 per month for wellness spending such as gym memberships or fitness classes.
- Parental Leave, flexible scheduling that works for you and your family.
