Sr. Consultant - Construction and Real Estate

Job Summary

StoneTurn, a global professional services firm, seeks a Senior Consultant to join our Construction and Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in construction delivery and management, foundational understanding of construction and project processes, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience in construction delivery and management as an executional team member within publicly or privately held organizations.
• Foundational experience in construction management, project engineering, and capital program and project management concepts.
• Overall knowledge of construction management methods, approaches, and generally accepted practices.
• Ability to apply industry expertise to complex matters and experience reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing client documents and analyses.
• Create and develop client deliverables and present findings, presenting to senior management, Partners, and external stakeholders.
• Accountable for multiple priorities and projects, delivery of timely preparation and quality client deliverables while communicating project and task status to internal team members.
• Integrate with other StoneTurn practice areas to deliver coordinated services.
• Participate in business development initiatives; researching and identifying opportunities to assist in expanding existing client base.
• Affiliate with the proposal process for capital projects and construction related matters, including the preparation of budget estimates.
• Assist with engagement management administration, including billing and conflict checks as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience of construction management, project engineering, project delivery or related fields within the construction industry.
• M.B.A. a plus.
• Flexibility with the travel requirements of client engagements.
• Excellent organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform technical projects, manage team and client expectations.
• Excellent prioritization skills.
• Commitment to exemplary client service delivery.
