Sr. Consultant, Change Management
Job Summary
This Senior Consultant, Change Management will collaborate across multiple levels and functions of the enterprise to lead the people side of major business initiatives. They will join an experienced team of change management professionals partnering to contribute and apply best practices and elevate enterprise ability to successfully move through change.
Responsibilities
- Contribute change management expertise and thought leadership to assigned internal clients, bringing a consistent change focus to all aspects of their operation.
- Define and implement a holistic change framework to support client strategic objectives and initiatives. Identify and address interdependencies, risks and opportunities across projects and shared stakeholders.
- Proactively manage a client change portfolio, partnering with leadership to prioritize engagements and address concerns in the context of enterprise objectives and standards.
- Collaboratively design, refine and execute innovative, comprehensive and tailored change solutions to guide individuals and groups through complex technology, process and organizational changes.
- Enable effective executive sponsorship and obtain senior leader support to drive needed changes across their organizations.
- Leverage industry insights and enterprise processes, tools and techniques to craft project change approaches which contribute to successful, sustainable outcomes, increase stakeholder adoption and anticipate and manage resistance.
- Conduct rigorous stakeholder and change impact analysis to identify, engage and equip all involved or affected stakeholders – employees as well as external partners – to work through changes and fully embrace future ways of working.
- Establish aligned metrics to monitor the progress of change efforts and evaluate stakeholder readiness and opportunities. Adapt the change approach to address newly discovered insights throughout each project engagement.
- Partner with project management, communications, learning, IT, data analytics, clinical, operational, financial, and other functions to enable transition to future-state solutions while minimizing disruption to business operation and patient/customer care.
- Develop and execute go-live readiness, hypercare, reinforcement and stabilization plans for affected stakeholders, including employees plus external suppliers, customers and physicians or other clinical staff as applicable.
- Participate in project leadership, partnering with steering committees and other governing bodies to advance project objectives.
- Foster change capability and change leadership across the enterprise, coaching project teams and equipping leaders and individuals to embed change agility into how we work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum seven years of change management experience preferred
- Prosci® certification preferred
- Experience working with healthcare technology, including deployment of EHR, PMS or related systems preferred
- Experience interacting with clinicians such as physicians and advanced practice providers as well as practice administrative staff such as revenue cycle or billing teams a plus
- Experience working in clinical or specialty healthcare environments such as Oncology or Urology practices a plus
- CCMP certification a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead the people side of large-scale business, organizational or technology initiatives
- Proven ability to work independently and at the same time foster effective working relationships to collaboratively achieve results
- Disciplined attention to detail and accountability to fulfill assigned responsibilities and contribute to the overall success of each project
- Recognized success serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, advocating for change management best practices and infusing a change leadership perspective into decisions while balancing constraints and navigating ambiguity
- Capacity to quickly build business acumen and apply relevant change management methodology in nuanced scenarios
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
Pay
Anticipated salary range: $105,100-$150,000
