This role will drive marketing initiatives focused on growth, customer acquisition, brand performance, and measurable demand creation within a regulated financial services environment. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop new classes of business and assess market trends
- Review individual risks and make acceptance or rejection decisions based on technical expertise
- Achieve production and loss ratio goals through effective broker management and marketing
- Oversee policy maintenance and mid-term requests, ensuring compliance with loss control recommendations
- Foster positive relationships with brokers and assist with marketing strategies for underwriting events
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of facultative reinsurance and maintain relationships with reinsurers
- Resolve complex technical underwriting questions and mentor lower-level underwriters
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Completion of general insurance courses (CPCU, CIC, AU, etc.) preferred
- Eight years of commercial lines underwriting experience with large or complex accounts
- Experience in excess and surplus lines is preferred
- Strong knowledge of complex underwriting policies, practices, and regulations

Pay
$136,000 – $242,000 annually
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Business casual attire in the workplace.
