Marrero, Couvillon & Associates, LLC (MCA) is seeking an experienced Sr. Construction Project Manager to plan and oversee a wide variety of construction projects from beginning to end.Responsibilities include planning and overseeing a specific project or a wide range of different construction projects from beginning to end.Candidate must be able to balance the budget, keep track of supplies, collaborate with subcontractors, and ensure all regulations are met and permits acquired. Construction Project Managers handle both administrative and hands-on work while managing construction projects.The Sr. Construction Project Manager candidate should have previous experience in construction management projects and be knowledgeable of regulations and permits required. If this sounds like you, get in touch with us.Sr. Construction Project Manager Job Responsibilities:15+ years ExperienceOversee construction projects from beginning to endManage the budget and estimate costsDetermine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower neededKeep track of inventory, tools and equipmentEnsure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedulePrepare reports regarding job statusResolve any problems that may ariseEnsure compliance with safety regulations and building codesEvaluate risksCollaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project teamNegotiate with external vendors on contract agreementsObtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sitesPlan construction operationsEnsure all deadlines are metHire contractors and staff including construction laborersDelegate responsibilitiesAllocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projectsKeep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularlyHandle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a projectConduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standardsBuild and maintain project schedulesProject planning skillsManage subcontracts and material procurementExcellent problem solving skillsSelf-motivatedA strong focus on customer relationsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelAble to work with web-based construction management softwareValid driver’s license and clear driving recordAbility to pass a drug screenSr. Construction Project Manager Job Requirements:BSc/BA, AAS degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related fieldExtensive previous work experience managing budgets for construction projectsExcellent knowledge of construction materials and equipmentHighly organizedPrevious experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skillsKnowledge of MS Office as well scheduling softwarePrevious work experience in construction management or another similar roleUnderstanding of construction management processesAble to plan aheadFamiliar with construction and project management software programsExcellent knowledge of relevant rules and regulations as well as quality standards and human resourcesConflict resolution and conflict management experienceExcellent time management abilityAble to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager dutiesExcellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skillsQualificationsBachelor's (Preferred)Construction project management or estimating: 3 years (Preferred)US work authorization
