Sr. Construction Materials Testing Technician

About the role

Beaver Engineering is a family‑owned Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Observation & Materials Testing Company celebrating over 50 years in business. The position involves observing, documenting and reporting field activities as well as performing tests on construction materials to ensure compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities

• Observe field activities on construction sites.
• Document and report observations and test results.
• Perform tests on construction materials to verify compliance with specifications.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in construction observation or materials testing.
• Current Hazmat certification.
• Current ACI Level 1 certification.
• Knowledge of local geology (preferred).
• Ability to routinely lift 40–50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Strong communication skills.
• Pass both a drug test and background checks.
