Sr. Construction Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of complex construction and infrastructure projects
• Oversee engineering decisions, technical problem-solving, and field issue resolution
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and overall performance to ensure successful delivery
• Cookordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Mentor and support junior engineers and project staff to promote development and project success
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and key milestones

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in construction engineering or project execution
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, infrastructure projects, and project controls
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering plans and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or progression toward licensure
• Experience working with public agencies or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with construction management and scheduling software
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder relationships
