Sr. Compliance Consultant - Ascensus

About the role

This position is responsible for providing superior plan compliance and consulting services to our clients and the internal teams who serve them by embracing a proactive approach to client consultation. Build and strengthen these relationships by utilizing industry understanding and regulatory expertise to provide value-added services to our retirement plan clients. This position is also responsible for providing leadership by example and serving as a technical resource to ensure client expectations are met and/or exceeded.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior plan compliance and consulting services to our clients and the internal teams who serve them by embracing a proactive approach to client consultation.
• Build and strengthen relationships by utilizing industry understanding and regulatory expertise to provide value-added services to our retirement plan clients.
• Provide leadership by example and serve as a technical resource to ensure client expectations are met and/or exceeded.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plan compliance and consulting.
• Strong understanding of retirement plan regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for helping clients achieve their retirement goals through sound financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration).
• CPA or CFA designation preferred.
• Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in retirement plan consulting.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
