About the role
The Sr. Complex Claims Adjuster will be responsible for handling high-value claims, coordinating with external parties, and ensuring timely and accurate resolution of complex insurance disputes.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze complex insurance claims to determine coverage and appropriate compensation
- Communicate with clients, agents, and third-party vendors to resolve disputes and provide solutions
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for claims processing
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless claim resolution
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations affecting insurance claims
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., insurance, risk management)
- At least 5 years of experience in claims adjusting, preferably in complex or high-value cases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Knowledge of insurance policies and claims handling procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with claims software and databases
