Key job responsibilities
- Partner with HR leadership and teams to develop and implement compensation strategies for multiple functional areas within AWS.
- Deliver on projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new programs.
- Write detailed and compelling papers to articulate the findings and recommendations from your analysis to a non-technical audience.
- Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives and future programs.
- Partner with regional and global compensation partners on local, regional or global issues, and work on a variety of special compensation projects as needed.
- Provide advice to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay and stock compensation.
- Consult with business on job evaluations using market data and internal evaluation.
- Document processes and build compensation playbooks.
- Conduct custom surveys with key industry contacts, as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of finance, compensation or consulting experience
- 5+ years of Human Resources, Compensation Management or Consulting experience
- Knowledge of Excel and Peoplesoft
- Knowledge of compensation compliance with state and federal laws
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in LATAM
