About the role
Axos Bank Target Range: $70,304.00/Yr. - $90,000.00/Yr. Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Responsibilities
- Download, organize, and maintain all due diligence materials across PREF, CRESL, and RELF pipelines
- Review incoming documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency (addresses, insurance details, borrower/guarantor information, Axos forms, etc.)
- Upload and maintain collateral documents (appraisals, insurance, flood certs, Phase I, surveys, etc.) in Salesforce/nCino
- Order required third-party reports and compliance items for all three business units (appraisals, environmental, flood certs, GC evaluation, OFAC/BSA, insurance reviews, etc.)
- Track outstanding reports, follow up with vendors, and resolve issues (false OFAC hits, missing entity documents, foreign guarantor triggers, etc.)
- Support account management activities by ensuring files are organized, labeled correctly, and ready for underwriting or closing review
- Prepare funding and closing deliverables, including boarding packages, checklists, and required uploads
- Handle invoice collection, payment coordination, and assist with post-close escrow reconciliation
- Absorb documents for loan modifications, portfolio reviews, collateral audits, or quality control checks
- Conduct OFAC/TIN/Google checks on borrowers, guarantors, and pledge entities
- Assist with process improvements, workflow updates, and standardization across the three business units
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Prior construction lending, CRE, loan processing, or operations experience highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple teams with different workflows
- Familiarity with Salesforce/nCino or similar systems is a plus
