Sr. Cloud Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will be responsible for designing and supporting secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that enables reliable enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep AWS expertise, strong automation skills, and hands-on experience building modern containerized platforms. You will partner closely with engineering and cross-functional teams to strengthen platform resilience, streamline delivery, and advance cloud security and compliance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $103,500 – $138,000 annually Responsibilities Design and support secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure aligned with enterprise standards Engineer and manage containerized platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform for automation and consistency Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment Architect AWS networking solutions for secure and resilient connectivity Implement cloud security controls and compliance requirements using AWS tools Monitor and improve cloud platform reliability through observability and incident response Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud solutions and drive continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience 7+ years of infrastructure, cloud engineering, or platform engineering experience 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience in enterprise environments Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Hands-on experience with Kubernetes platforms, preferably Amazon EKS Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes Proficient in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash Benefits Comprehensive medical and dental coverage 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions Annual performance-based bonus opportunities Flexible work environment with potential for remote work Professional development and training opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
