About the Opportunity:The SR. CLOUD ENGINEER will design, deploy, and manage secure and scalable cloud infrastructure that supports data, analytics, and AI/ML workloads. This role is responsible for developing infrastructure automation, managing cloud platform environments, and collaborating with various teams to optimize and secure data platforms. The position contributes by ensuring reliable, efficient, and secure cloud operations that enable advanced data capabilities. Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML workloads.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for AWS and Databricks resources.Create reusable Terraform modules and automation for cloud components and integrations.Administer Databricks environments, including configuration and governance.Manage Databricks platform migrations, upgrades, and architectural changes.Implement secure AWS architectures including VPCs, IAM policies, and encryption.Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for infrastructure automation and management.Develop automation tools using Python, Bash, and cloud APIs to enhance efficiency.Support enterprise identity and access management, including automated permission handling.Implement observability and audit logging solutions integrated with monitoring platforms.Design and support secure data platform integrations and consumer-facing data products.Enable AI/ML platform services and workloads.Collaborate across teams to resolve platform issues and define scalable standards.Lead technical investigations, proofs of concept, and platform improvements.Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and self-service tools.Participate in incident response and continuous improvement efforts. Requirements:Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure for data platforms and AI/ML workloads.Proficient with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.Skilled in managing AWS and Databricks environments.Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.Knowledge of secure AWS architectures and identity/access management.Ability to implement observability, audit logging, and monitoring integrations.Experience supporting AI/ML platform capabilities.Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills. Pay Range and Compensation Package:The salary range for this role is $120,000 – $135,000.Compensation decisions are based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
