Sr. Clinical Research Coordinator
About the role
This position coordinates multiple research studies and clinical trials under the clinical direction of each study's Principal Investigator (PI) and the operational direction of the Manager of Clinical Studies. Responsibilities include assisting the PI in the recruitment and retention of study subjects by obtaining informed consents, screening patients, and maintaining research records and files. The role guides the day-to-day operations of each assigned study, ensuring adherence to protocol, accuracy of reports, and timely resolution of queries. It also involves monitoring agencies, sponsors, and contracted vendors in cooperation with the UB Clinical Research Office (CRO).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple research studies and clinical trials.
- Assist Principal Investigators (PIs) in recruitment and retention of study subjects.
- Obtain informed consents and screen patients.
- Maintain research records and files.
- Ensure adherence to study protocols and accuracy of reports.
- Resolve queries in a timely manner.
- Monitor agencies, sponsors, and contracted vendors in collaboration with the UB Clinical Research Office (CRO).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or a healthcare-related field.
- 3 years of clinical research experience.
Working Conditions
- Sedentary work with a weight requirement of up to 10 lbs.
Schedule
- Standard bi-weekly hours: 75.00.
- Scheduled work hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
- No weekend or holiday requirement.
- No on-call requirement.
- Hybrid work arrangement.
Pay
Salary range: $58,666.92 – $80,674.62 (bi-weekly pay frequency). Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
