About the role

Our Sr Clinical Project Manager is responsible for management of multiple projects (including global projects) throughout all lifecycle phases. Ensures that all project work is completed to the client expectations, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget and in accordance with SOPs, ICH GCP, applicable regulations, policies and practices. Serves as the principal liaison with clients to ensure effective and timely communication of project progress, issues, and plans for resolution of those issues. Provides leadership in the development of clinical trials and related documents. Works closely and effectively with cross-functional teams. Mentors and assists in the development of project team members, participates in the PM department initiatives, process improvement and training programs. Provides strategy and input in business development proposals and attends bid defenses. This is a remote position based in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects (including global projects) throughout all lifecycle phases
  • Ensure project work is completed to client expectations, with quality deliverables on time and within budget
  • Adhere to SOPs, ICH GCP, applicable regulations, policies, and practices
  • Serve as the principal liaison with clients for effective and timely communication of project progress, issues, and resolution plans
  • Provide leadership in the development of clinical trials and related documents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Mentor and assist in the development of project team members
  • Participate in PM department initiatives, process improvement, and training programs
  • Provide strategy and input in business development proposals and attend bid defenses

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • 5-7+ years of professional experience in clinical research, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries as a Project Manager, leading and directing other team members
  • Full understanding of the drug development process with experience in critical elements for success in clinical trials
  • Experience reviewing protocols, programs, and assessing project success
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and resource utilization for clinical trials
