About The Role
This role is responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with a portfolio of key clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for growth within DST Technologies' Professional Accounting - Business Advisory Services (PA-BAS) sector. You will help lead and ensure the success of client events, including conversions, mergers, and liquidations.
SS&C combines proprietary technology with deep industry expertise to support complex financial and healthcare operations. You will work with industry experts, modern platforms, and evolving technologies, gaining exposure to real-world operational challenges and large-scale enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and cultivate strong, long-lasting client relationships with assigned accounts in the PA-BAS sector.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve client retention, satisfaction, and revenue growth targets.
- Proactively identify automation opportunities and process improvements for common initiatives performed by the team.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., client relationship teams, product development, service delivery, technical support, operations, financial control) to ensure client needs are met and issues are resolved efficiently.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and reports to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of DST Technologies' offerings.
- Monitor client satisfaction, gather feedback, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product/service offerings relevant to the PA-BAS market.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in client relationship management, account management, or sales within the financial services or professional services technology sector.
- Proven track record of successfully providing client support.
- Strong understanding of the mutual fund industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and negotiate effectively.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong client-centric approach.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
