Sr. Claims Specialist, Professional Liability | Medical Malpractice | California

You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex medical malpractice claims
• Conduct comprehensive investigations for new claims
• Calculate and manage reserves for claims
• Recommend and negotiate settlement strategies
• Coordinate legal defense and support investigations
• Implement cost containment techniques to reduce claims costs
• Communicate proactively with clients about claim activities

Requirements

• 6+ years in claims management or equivalent education/experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification in the field is a plus
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Proficient judgment and discretion in complex situations
• Commitment to timely, cost-effective resolutions

Pay

$100,000 – $125,000 annually
