About the role
Hartland is seeking a Senior Site/Civil Project Manager to join its team. This individual will play a key role in leading and supporting design, permitting, and client management on a variety of land development projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial, and mixed-use projects for public and private clients.
- Work closely with leadership to develop growth plans and ensure effective staff utilization.
- Lead site/civil efforts across a variety of project types, including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion and sediment control — from concept through completion.
- Lead stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
- Demonstrate experience across all aspects of land development engineering, including the integration of geotechnical and environmental disciplines.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of successful, relevant site/civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development across both small and large-scale projects.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Proven site/civil experience including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion and sediment control from concept through completion.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Experience in technical and proposal writing, with strong attention to detail and sound analytical judgment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multitasking ability and capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay
$140,000 - $180,000 per year
