Sr. Chemist

The Sr. Chemist is responsible for developing, improving, validating, and transferring analytical methods to support laboratory operations and product quality. This role also manages instrument qualification activities, provides technical troubleshooting, and supports laboratory investigations to ensure robust, compliant analytical performance across the organization. Functions Perform method development and method improvement Perform method validations, method transfers with other sites or suppliers, and periodic method reviews Perform compendial assessments and changes Perform instrument qualifications, periodic validation reviews, and various instrument lifecycle tasks Manage complex technical projects and make key technical decisions Provide troubleshooting support to the analytical chemistry lab on instrument and method issues Provide support for laboratory investigations and corrective actions Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related fieldComputer skills with working knowledge of MS Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communications skillsExcellent problem solving skillsExperience with method validations and instrument qualifications Preferred Masters or PhD in Chemistry or related fieldExperience with LabVantage LIMS or similar LIM systemExperience with Empower 3 or similar data acquisition system Benefits 12-Months contract with possible extensionAdminstrative shift
