Sr. Business Solutions Analyst

About the role
The Sr. Business Solutions Analyst is a senior role that drives the strategic direction of the organization’s systems, processes, and procedures to ensure they are aligned with the organization’s overall goals and objectives. This position leads research, design, document, and modification of requirements and designs to support the organization’s goals. Additionally, this role works with stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met and proposed solutions align with the organization’s strategy.
Responsibilities
- Partner with both the business and technical teams to develop high-quality deliverables across all phases of delivery, from identifying and defining requirements and process flows to use cases, through to user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and process flow diagrams.
- Support the maintenance and completeness of the Engage product backlog, including prioritization, refinement, and elaboration of stories, features, and epics.
- Analyze and identify the need for new processes and procedures to ensure the organization’s systems remain efficient and effective; drive the implementation of process improvements based on analysis.
- Research and identify standard methodologies and communicate their policies and procedures to business teams and teammates.
- Participate in design and solutioning sessions to ensure platform capabilities are optimally aligned to business requirements and value realization.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years as a Business Architect or in a similar IT role.
Skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite and Visio.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Pega Cloud Systems.
- Expert knowledge of system architecture and design best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification(s): Pega BA Certification.
