About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Strategy Lead to join the Private Pricing Programs and Experiences (3PX) team. The Strategy Lead will lead complex, highly visible efforts that help the organization make meaningful progress toward high-impact goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual strategic planning cycle and hold the pen on the annual VP-level strategic plan in partnership with senior leaders
  • Drive key reporting mechanisms inclusive of monthly goal updates and recurring business reviews
  • Deepen the broader org’s business understanding through deep-dive analyses and delivery of documents/reports on focused topics
  • Craft executive communications and reports for senior leadership including being the conduit between deep analytics reporting/dashboards and packaging up for business decision-making
  • Support senior leadership with other projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements

  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of sales, business or corporate strategy experience
  • 5+ years of Tableau Desktop, Quicksight or other relevant data visualization software experience
  • 5+ years proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • 5 + years experience owning business reporting to senior leadership and driving related discussions

Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
  • Experience owning and successfully delivering strategic Amazon documents
  • Ability to thrive as a strong owner in a fast-paced, high-bar environment and drive measurable results
  • Data-proficient; ability to marry data and insights to surface new conclusions/insights
  • Highly organized and operationally excellent

Skills

  • Experience in AWS Sales or sales enablement

The base salary range for this position is listed below.

  • USA, MA, Boston - 147,900.00 - 200,100.00 USD annually
  • USA, NY, New York - 162,700.00 - 220,200.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Austin - 147,900.00 - 200,100.00 USD annually
  • USA, WA, Seattle - 147,900.00 - 200,100.00 USD annually
