Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsible for

• designing and delivering broad business intelligence analysis and metrics
• partnering with key business leaders and SMEs to design and implement scorecards and metrics processes
• continuously communicating necessary facts and data to drive corrective and proactive changes

What You'll Do In This Role

• lead data discovery to identify key insights and trends
• act as data expert and collaborate with SMEs and IT teams
• work with cutting-edge BI tools to deliver data visualizations and AI-enhanced predictions
• collect and understand data to extract value and communicate it
• design and create user-accepted dashboards
• bring value-add contributions to executive-level dashboard and report design
• design analytics and reporting deliverables, focusing on data visualization best practices
• perform data abstraction, cleansing, validation, modeling, interpretation, and reporting
• participate in business reviews and strategic planning discussions
• support the extraction of actionable information and align with business objectives
• ensure solutions meet business needs
• consult on all data-related solutions
• mentor team members
• collaborate with division leaders and department SMEs to define routine reporting needs
• design and create reports or provide report specifications
• deliver analytical solutions for strategic use

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science or Business
• Preferred minimum 3 years' experience with analysis
• Preferred experience with BI expressive languages like DAX or SAQL
• Required: Life insurance experience
• Demonstrated ability to perform advanced calculations and apply data to solve business problems
• Ability to interpret data to help in strategic decision-making
• Expertise in developing Tableau, Power BI, or Salesforce Einstein solutions
• Comfortable working with large data sets and leveraging data wrangling techniques
• Experience pulling data from data warehouses, marts, and lakes
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Effective communication skills and ability to translate data into stories
• Professional and positive demeanor

Salary Range Information

USD $69,324.00 - USD $115,540.00 /Yr. Range includes data points from multiple labor markets. Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position. Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience.
