About the role
The Sr. Business Director - Tri-State IMM will lead a team responsible for account-based selling to health care providers (HCPs) who prescribe and influence the treatment for autoimmune diseases. This includes HCPs in dedicated rheumatology and dermatology practices, as well as representatives in key hospital accounts. The role involves partnering with key customers in the rheumatology and dermatology space to increase Lilly’s ability to drive adoption of new and existing therapies. They will also create business relationships with state and local advocacy groups, teaching institutions, key influencers, and managed care organizations.
Responsibilities
- Understands the marketplace within the district and utilizes appropriate business analytic resources to meet the needs of the customers and drive results in alignment with corporate vision and objectives.
- Coaches team to navigate the ever-changing healthcare environment to increase understanding of accounts and become a trusted partner.
- Builds a high-functioning team; partners across the organization to identify and recruit diverse top talent.
- Embraces and coaches team utilizing Lilly’s coaching and selling models to elevate performance; defines clear expectations, tracks and handles progress, differentiates performance, and holds individuals accountable.
- Promotes ongoing learning for career development and advancement through consistent career coaching dialogues.
- Achieves the team’s targeted activity metrics while acting in a manner consistent with internal policies and procedures.
- Holds self and team accountable to business expectations.
- Buils relationships with internal partners and external partners to build trust, create value, and drive results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Professional certification or license required to perform this position if required by a specific state.
- Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
- Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
