Sr Business Analyst – Pricing Analytics
About the role
Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for assigned pricing analytics initiatives. Partner with Pricing, Sales, Finance, Product Management, and other stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, and translate them into clear analytical or technical workstreams. Work closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Visualization teams to support the design and delivery of pricing analytics solutions. Help maintain the roadmap, milestones, priorities, and dependencies for assigned projects or workstreams. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables. Support project intake, requirement gathering, documentation, and follow-up to help move initiatives from concept to execution. Analyze pricing, sales, market, and commercial data to support business decisions and identify actionable insights. Develop reports, dashboards, templates, and visualizations that help stakeholders monitor pricing performance and business outcomes. Identify opportunities to improve pricing analytics processes, reporting workflows, and data quality. Organize and document business requirements, decisions, action items, and project updates to support effective execution. Support user adoption and stakeholder understanding of pricing analytics outputs, tools, and reporting solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to make cross-functional collaboration and analytics delivery more effective.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in analytics, business analysis, pricing analytics, commercial analytics, or a related field.
- Experience working across both business and technical teams to gather requirements, clarify needs, and support solution delivery.
- Strong understanding of pricing, sales, margin, and commercial performance metrics.
- Exposure to BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP BI, or similar.
- Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx, or similar tools used for data preparation, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines, priorities, and follow-up for assigned initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and business needs to technical teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within a structured project environment.
