Sr Brand Marketing Manager
About the role
The Brand Manager is responsible for helping build a more connected and distinctive brand experience across the organization. This role translates brand strategy into the systems, stories, and partnerships that enable employees and business teams to express the brand with clarity and confidence. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the Brand Manager strengthens brand cohesion across touchpoints, develops programs that foster employee ownership and pride, and creates practical tools and guidance that make the brand more accessible and actionable. The role also leads critical brand stewardship initiatives, including digital asset management (DAM), naming, and trademark coordination, to protect the brand while supporting the company's evolving business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the rollout, governance, and enterprise adoption of the digital asset management (DAM) platform, including stakeholder engagement, user training, workflow documentation, and ongoing optimization based on adoption and user feedback.
- Lead the launch and activation of the employee brand, building awareness, engagement, and brand pride across the organization.
- Develop employee-facing brand education, communications, and engagement programs—including a quarterly brand newsletter—that connect teams to brand priorities, resources, and best practices.
- Manage the intake and strategic development of naming initiatives for internal and external products, programs, and services, from agency briefing and ideation through leadership evaluation and recommendation.
- Partner with Trademark Legal to assess name availability, ownership, registration, licensing, and protection; maintain an accurate inventory of company-owned and actively used trademarks and names.
- Develop and maintain brand review processes, toolkits, templates, and other resources that enable consistent application of the brand across campaigns, communications, and experiences.
- Serve as a strategic brand partner to internal teams, providing consultation and guidance that aligns initiatives with brand standards, positioning, and business objectives.
- Lead brand training, review sessions, and best-practice sharing for internal teams and external partners.
- Manage project plans, stakeholder communication, timelines, and success measures for assigned initiatives; use results and feedback to improve effectiveness.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience specifically in project management with a preference for candidates who have worked directly with creative/brand teams to manage approvals and assets.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Acquia software and Smartsheet (not required).
- Experience working at an Ad Agency or on branding is preferred.
