About The Role

We are seeking a Sr. Brand Marketing Manager to help build a more connected, consistent, and distinctive brand experience across the organization. This role will translate brand strategy into practical programs, tools, processes, and partnerships that enable employees and business teams to represent the brand with clarity and confidence. The Sr. Brand Marketing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, creative, communications, legal, and business functions to strengthen brand consistency, drive employee engagement and brand pride, and support the organization’s evolving business needs. This role will also oversee key brand stewardship initiatives, including digital asset management, naming, trademark coordination, and brand governance. The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative project manager who enjoys working with creative and brand teams, managing multiple stakeholders, and bringing structure to projects from concept through execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the rollout, governance, and enterprise adoption of the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform, including stakeholder engagement, user training, workflow documentation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, approvals, communications, and success measures for assigned brand initiatives.
  • Lead the launch and activation of employee brand initiatives designed to build awareness, engagement, and brand pride.
  • Develop employee-facing brand education, communications, and engagement programs, including a quarterly brand newsletter.
  • Create and maintain brand review processes, toolkits, templates, guidelines, and other resources that help teams apply the brand consistently.
  • Partner with internal teams to provide strategic brand guidance and ensure initiatives align with brand standards, positioning, and business objectives.
  • Manage the intake and strategic development of naming initiatives for internal and external products, programs, and services.
  • Coordinate naming projects from agency briefing and ideation through leadership review, evaluation, and recommendation.
  • Partner with Trademark Legal to assess name availability, ownership, registration, licensing, and protection.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of company-owned and actively used trademarks and names.
  • Lead brand training sessions, review meetings, and best-practice sharing for internal teams and external partners.
  • Coordinate creative assets, stakeholder feedback, approvals, and deliverables across multiple projects.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks or roadblocks, and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Use project results, adoption data, and stakeholder feedback to improve processes and program effectiveness.
  • Support additional brand and creative initiatives as business needs evolve.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably supporting brand, creative, marketing, communications, or related teams.
  • Experience managing projects involving creative assets, stakeholder reviews, approvals, and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to bring structure to complex projects.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and responding quickly when priorities or deadlines shift.
  • Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed and aligned.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within an advertising, creative, or branding agency.
  • Corporate brand management or brand operations experience.
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet.
  • Knowledge of Acquia software.
  • Experience with brand governance, brand standards, toolkits, or internal brand education.
  • Experience coordinating naming initiatives, trademarks, or other brand stewardship activities.

What Success Looks Like

The successful candidate will bring strong project management discipline to brand initiatives while partnering effectively with creative and business teams. They will help make the brand easier for employees to understand and use, improve the organization’s brand processes and resources, and ensure projects move efficiently from idea to execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment where the workload can vary—some periods may be steady and highly planned, while others require the ability to move quickly, manage pressure, and deliver against tight deadlines.
