About the role

As a Branch Manager at Byline Bank, you are not just overseeing operations; you are the heartbeat of the branch, driving its success and fostering a vibrant environment for both customers and staff.

We're excited to offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus to the selected candidate, payable after 90 days of continuous employment.

Responsibilities

• Build a dynamic team by hiring and nurturing talent, ensuring each member is equipped to provide exceptional service.
• Develop strong relationships with local businesses and residents to help them achieve their financial goals.
• Craft and implement strategic plans that boost productivity and sales performance.
• Partner closely with your Business Banking partner to identify opportunities to cultivate new customer relationships and expand the branch's reach.
• Exceed financial targets and ensure sustained growth.
• Travel to other branch locations to share expertise and support colleagues.
• Identify process improvements to maintain a high standard of operations.
• Market products and services, make outbound calls, and network within the community.
• Lead by example to ensure branch goals are met or exceeded.
• Deepen customer relationships and promote the bank's presence in the community.
• Foster a culture of respect and empowerment.
• Conduct regular meetings to keep the team engaged and informed.
• Provide ongoing training and support to help team members grow.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Branch/Retail Banking experience as a Relationship Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Retail Banking and commercial business processes.
• Proven sales and outside calling skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Strong initiative, judgment, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and core operating systems.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Self-driven individual with a strong background in Business Banking and Relationship Management.
• Experience with originating small business loans, proven credit knowledge, and a successful track record in sales.
• Ability to profile customers, engage them in the sales process, and build effective relationships.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for the position is $72,000 to $111,000. Compensation may also include discretionary bonuses and other benefit programs. The actual compensation package may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience level, and candidate's location.
