Responsibilities
- Work as an Azure Data Engineer.
- Attend daily stand-ups, scrum calls, quarterly PI.
- Work with BSA and product team to understand project requirements.
- Create technical specification and source-to-target design mapping documents.
- Write or understand Java/PySpark code written on Databricks platform, perform unit testing and work with QA & Business testers for defect resolution.
- Work with admins on code deployments.
- Coordinate and lead the offshore developers.
Qualifications
- Experience in Azure Databricks is mandatory.
- Expertise and knowledge of Medallion Architecture is required.
- Good understanding of Delta tables, Synapse, and data partitioning on Azure cloud.
This role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.
Pay
- Annual salary range: $80,000 - $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.
