Sr. Audit Leader – Emerging & Professional Services Clients

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Oversee audits, reviews, compilations, and other attest engagements.
• Supervise and mentor audit professionals, providing coaching, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
• Review workpapers, financial statements, and supporting documentation to ensure quality and compliance with professional standards.
• Evaluate engagement risks and develop appropriate audit strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand operations, financial reporting processes, and internal controls.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management in a clear and professional manner.
• Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Stay informed of accounting, auditing, and industry developments affecting clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement efficiency and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA designation required.
• 5+ years of public accounting audit experience.
• Experience serving technology, professional services, or other growth-oriented industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
